The Republic of Equatorial Guinea has been revealed that since more than 48 hours, the Western press, especially French, echoed the words of a decision that was made by the Dean of Magistrates financial centre of Paris and, following a complaint made by Transparency International France against, in particular His Excellency President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

If it is legitimate for the press informs the public, he is months in the treatment of information, objectivity and prudence are necessary, particularly as in the case of space, the presumption of innocence prohibits any comment and let al ``premature´´ decision.

It is true that when it comes to Africa, especially the leaders of sub-Saharan Africa, the Western press is unleashed by throwing immediately anathema to their political leaders. Why would it not also true of Africa, except that unfortunately some Western opinion, does not now accept that this happens. In this regard, it is the least unacceptable as NGOs such as Transparency International France is concerned that our African leaders, forgetting that there are Western nationals or other parts of the world that performs elective and which still carry and possess a heritage for the month consistent.

 
As to his Excellency President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Equatorial Guinea wishes to clarify that it does in France only one real estate assets, namely a pavilion, as has probably some millions of European owned, pavilion that was acquired in 1986 long before the discovery in our country's oilfields. There are no asset and no holds no bank account on his name.

With regard to public money, which in the words of the above NGOs have been ``hijacked´´ by African leaders referred to by their complaints, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea invited the leaders of Transparency International France to visit our country or, hand, they will see that the resources generated by the exploitation of our deposits, including oil, on the one hand, serve to build infrastructure, including roads, housing, hospitals, schools and on the other hand, is devoted well-being of the people of Equatorial Guinea (projects for electrification and water supply as well as in health, education, etc.). 

In this regard, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea wishes to recall that it adheres on the initiative for transparency in the Extractive Industries (EITI) in order to ensure maximum transparency in the management of public money. 

We need NGOs as Transparency International France are once and for all that they do not intimidate us and that Africa will always defend itself with vigour and dignity. 

The biases of the media are evidence of the origin of the difficulties we face in our continent.
